Summary of key points
This summary is for convenience only. The full Terms below are what apply. Nothing in these Terms affects rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.
- MyPA is an AI service. Most responses, summaries, images, voices and recommendations are produced by artificial intelligence. AI can be wrong, including by producing confident but false ("hallucinated") information. Check important outputs before you rely on them (section 4 and our AI Transparency, Data Use and Limitations Disclosure).
- You stay in control of actions. MyPA only acts for you (for example sending messages, booking or buying) within the permissions you give. Important actions require your confirmation (sections 13 to 15).
- Payments. Paid subscriptions, AI Token top-ups and Ask the Experts fees are charged by MyPA Limited and processed securely by our payment service provider, Trust Payments, or by the app store you purchase through. Our Payments, Subscriptions, AI Tokens and Refund Policy explains prices, renewals, cancellation and refunds (section 21).
- Your data. We use your data to provide the service you ask for. We do not sell your private conversations. Optional programmes such as MyPA Insights are off by default (section 10 and our Privacy Policy).
- Labels. AI-generated content, AI personas, human-reviewed content and sponsored content are labelled as described in our AI Content Labelling System Policy (section 5).
1. About these Terms
1.1 These Terms of Service and End User Licence Agreement ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and MyPA Limited, a company registered in Jersey whose registered address is VG, Floor 5, 37 Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE1 2TR, Channel Islands ("MyPA", "we", "us" or "our").
1.2 These Terms apply when you create a MyPA account or access or use any MyPA website, mobile or desktop application, AI assistant, messaging channel, API, creator or partner-branded app, or related service (together, the "Service").
1.3 By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1.4 The following documents form part of these Terms and apply where relevant:
- Privacy Policy and Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy;
- Payments, Subscriptions, AI Tokens and Refund Policy;
- Acceptable Use and AI Safety Policy;
- AI Transparency, Data Use and Limitations Disclosure;
- AI Content Labelling System Policy;
- Agentic Actions and Authorisation Policy;
- Ask the Experts and Professional Services Terms (when you use those services); and
- any country schedule (including the Japan Country Schedule) and any additional terms shown to you for a particular feature, purchase, promotion, creator app or partner service.
1.5 If there is a conflict, the more specific document applies to its subject matter. A country schedule prevails for users in that country. Mandatory law always prevails.
1.6 MyPA's AI Ethical Framework Policy and Human Oversight Process Policy describe how we govern our AI systems. They are published for transparency and do not reduce any of your rights under these Terms.

3. What MyPA is
3.1 MyPA is a privacy-focused AI personal assistant designed to help you find information, communicate, organise your personal and working life and, where you authorise it, take actions for you. Features may include:
- AI chat, search, research, drafting, translation and content generation (including images and voice);
- email, calendar, contacts, files, photos and connected-account assistance;
- personal memory, preference learning and personalisation;
- travel, restaurant, product and service search, comparison, booking and purchase;
- utilities, insurance, broadband, subscription and other comparison, renewal or switching assistance;
- Coworker and other workflow automation;
- secure browsing, VPN, Privacy Shield, spam and threat protection;
- access to MyPA through supported messaging channels such as WhatsApp or Telegram;
- creator-branded apps and Creator AI Personas;
- Ask the Experts and, where available, access to human professionals;
- rewards, AI Tokens and partner benefits; and
- advertising, sponsored recommendations and the optional MyPA Insights programme.
3.2 Not every feature is available in every country, on every device, or in every partner or creator app. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn in accordance with section 26. Some features described in these Terms are still in development and are not available yet; they apply once we make them available to you.
4. AI-generated content and its limitations
4.1 AI is used throughout the Service. Unless a screen clearly tells you that you are communicating with a named human (for example an Ask the Experts professional or a human support agent), you should assume that any response or content in the Service is AI-generated or AI-assisted.
4.2 AI can be wrong. AI systems work by predicting likely outputs. They can produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, biased, inappropriate or entirely fabricated while appearing confident and plausible. This is often called "hallucination". AI may also misunderstand your instructions, misread documents, invent sources, links, quotes or figures, or perform calculations incorrectly.
4.3 You must check important outputs. You are responsible for evaluating AI Output before relying on it, especially where an error could have legal, medical, financial, safety, employment, reputational or other significant consequences. Where appropriate, verify AI Output against reliable sources or consult a qualified professional.
4.4 AI Output is not professional advice. Unless a qualified professional is expressly providing a service to you through Ask the Experts, AI Output on legal, medical, tax, financial, investment, insurance or other professional matters is general information only and is not professional advice.
4.5 AI Output may not be unique. Similar prompts can produce similar outputs for other users. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI Output does not infringe third-party rights.
4.6 Commercial influence. Recommendations may be influenced by commercial relationships. Sponsored content is labelled (section 19).
4.7 Our AI Transparency, Data Use and Limitations Disclosure explains in plain language how AI is used in the Service, how your data is used and the limitations of the technology.
5. Labelling of AI content
5.1 We label AI-generated and AI-assisted content in accordance with our AI Content Labelling System Policy. This includes visible labels in the interface and, for AI-generated images, audio and video, machine-readable markings (such as metadata, content credentials or watermarks) where technically feasible.
5.2 You must not remove, obscure, alter or misrepresent any AI label, watermark, content credential or other provenance marking applied by MyPA where doing so would mislead anyone about the AI origin of the content, or where the law requires the marking to be kept.
5.3 If you publish or share AI Output that depicts real people, events or places in a realistic way (a "deepfake"), or that is published to inform the public on matters of public interest, you are responsible for disclosing that it is AI-generated where required by law.
6. AI processing modes and providers
6.1 MyPA may process tasks using: Local Lite (smaller on-device AI); Local Smart (more capable on-device AI on suitable hardware); and Cloud Smart (cloud-hosted AI used where local processing is unavailable, unsuitable or insufficient). A local task may fall back to Cloud Smart, and web searches, bookings and other external functions use online services even when language processing happens on your device.
6.2 Cloud Smart may use AI models provided by carefully selected third-party AI providers acting on our instructions. We contractually restrict those providers from using your data to train their general models, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6.3 Bring your own AI provider. Where supported, you may connect your own third-party AI account or API key. That provider's terms and privacy policy apply to information sent to it, and you are responsible for its charges.
7. Eligibility, age and verification
7.1 You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or older if required in your country. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
7.2 You must be at least 18 to make purchases, set up a subscription, use a payment card, join MyPA Insights, or use features shown as 18+. Some features or advertising have higher age limits.
7.3 Some features may require identity, age or business verification using approved providers. A date of birth typed into your profile is not treated as verified age where trusted verification is required.
8. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your device, passwords, passkeys and authentication methods secure.
- Do not impersonate anyone, sell or transfer your account, or allow others to use it without authority.
- Tell us promptly at help@mypa.today if you believe your account has been compromised.
You are responsible for activity on your account, including Actions and purchases authorised through it, unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or by fraud not attributable to you.
9. Connected services and permissions
9.1 You may connect MyPA to email, calendars, contacts, files, photos, messaging, financial accounts, health information, commerce accounts, location services and other third-party services. By connecting a service you authorise MyPA to access and process the information reasonably necessary to provide the functionality you requested.
9.2 MyPA separates three types of permission:
| Permission | What it allows |
|---|---|
| Data Permission | Access to a selected source or category of your information. It does not authorise any external Action. |
| AI Processing Permission | Processing of selected information through an approved AI route (on-device or cloud). |
| Action Permission | MyPA causing an external effect, within the scope, confirmations, limits and revocation rules shown to you. |
9.3 Some information is restricted by the platform or law it comes from ("Restricted Source Data"), for example certain Google Workspace, Apple, health, payment and VPN data. Your consent cannot authorise a use that those rules prohibit.
9.4 Your emails, messages and files may contain information about other people. You must have the right to share it with MyPA for the purpose you request.
10. Privacy, personalisation and MyPA Insights
10.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. We do not sell your private MyPA conversations, connected email content or personal data to advertisers.
10.2 Where enabled, MyPA learns from your interactions to personalise your assistant (memory). You can view, edit and delete memories and turn personalisation off in settings.
10.3 MyPA Insights is an optional programme through which eligible adults may choose to contribute selected data for research and measurement in return for Promotional AI Tokens or other rewards. It is off by default, requires a separate opt-in, never includes Restricted Source Data, identity documents, biometrics, payment credentials or protected health information, and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting your ordinary use of MyPA. Withdrawal does not remove Promotional AI Tokens you have already validly earned. Full terms are shown on the opt-in screen and in the Privacy Policy, and Schedule 1 applies.
11. Creator apps and Creator AI Personas
11.1 MyPA may be provided under a Creator's brand, and may include a Creator AI Persona: an AI that has been configured by or with the permission of the Creator to respond in a style, voice or likeness associated with that Creator, using content the Creator has approved.
11.2 A Creator AI Persona is an AI, not the Creator. Its responses are AI Output generated automatically. The Creator does not personally read or write the conversation unless the app clearly says otherwise. Creator AI Personas are labelled as AI in accordance with the AI Content Labelling System Policy.
11.3 Statements made by a Creator AI Persona are not personal statements, endorsements, promises or advice from the Creator, and may contain the same errors as any other AI Output.
11.4 You must not attempt to make a Creator AI Persona produce sexual, abusive, defamatory or otherwise harmful content about the Creator or anyone else, or present its output as something the Creator actually said.
11.5 Creator content and Creator AI Persona chat may be paid for with AI Tokens. MyPA is the supplier of that access to you. The Creator's own products and services sold outside the Service are subject to the Creator's terms.
12. Messaging channels
Where you link MyPA to a messaging channel such as WhatsApp or Telegram, you can chat with MyPA through that channel. MyPA can only read and reply to messages you send to MyPA in that channel. It cannot read or reply to your other personal messages. The messaging provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to its service.
13. Agentic actions
13.1 Where supported, you may authorise MyPA to send communications, make bookings, obtain quotations, compare services, fill forms, place orders, reorder products, manage subscriptions, start renewal or switching processes or operate connected software on your behalf.
13.2 For these purposes MyPA acts as a technical assistant on your instructions. This limited authority does not create a general agency, fiduciary, partnership or employment relationship. A contract created with a third party is normally between you and that third party, not MyPA.
13.3 Our Agentic Actions and Authorisation Policy explains how we classify actions by risk, when confirmation and stronger authentication are required, and what records we keep.
14. Confirmations and Standing Authorities
14.1 Where MyPA shows a confirmation screen, you must check the details before confirming. For a purchase, it will show the supplier, item, quantity, total price including fees, material cancellation terms and the fact that confirming will place a paid order. If any material detail changes, MyPA will ask you again.
14.2 You may create a Standing Authority for a defined task. It will state its purpose, scope, permitted counterparties or categories, any spending or quantity limit, duration and how to revoke it. Actions within a valid Standing Authority may be performed without separate confirmation each time.
14.3 You can revoke a Standing Authority at any time in settings. Revocation does not reverse an Action already completed or irrevocably submitted.
15. Safety checks and refusal to act
MyPA may pause, refuse, ask for clarification, require additional verification or route a request for human review where an instruction is ambiguous, unusually consequential, potentially fraudulent, unlawful, unsafe, prohibited by third-party terms or technically unavailable. MyPA is not obliged to carry out every instruction.
16. Coworker and workflow automation
You may record or configure workflows so that similar tasks run automatically. You must have authority to access the relevant systems. Third-party websites and software can change without notice, so an automation that previously worked may fail or behave differently. You should review important automated outputs at sensible intervals.
17. Third-party providers, purchases and bookings
17.1 MyPA connects with travel suppliers, restaurants, retailers, banks, insurers, telecommunications providers, professionals, app stores and other third parties. We do not control third-party services, and their terms, eligibility rules, privacy policies and charges apply.
17.2 Unless we expressly state otherwise, MyPA is not the seller of third-party goods or services. The third-party seller is responsible for fulfilment, delivery, product safety, warranties, cancellations, returns and refunds. Payment for third-party goods and services is made to, or through, that third party or its payment provider.
17.3 Travel, restaurant, food delivery, financial, insurance and similar services are provided by the relevant supplier. You remain responsible for traveller details, passports, visas, insurance and entry requirements. Allergy and dietary information should be confirmed directly with the food provider. A booking is not guaranteed until confirmed by the supplier.
17.4 Information about banking, mortgages, insurance, investments, tax, utilities and other financial matters is general assistance, not regulated advice, unless a regulated provider expressly provides advice.
17.5 Where MyPA provides access to a wallet, payment account, open-banking or other regulated financial functionality, that functionality is supplied by the identified regulated provider. MyPA does not become a bank, electronic-money institution, payment institution or lender because such a service is accessible through MyPA.
18. Health information and Ask the Experts
AI-generated health information is general information and not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional. MyPA is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. Where MyPA connects you with a human professional, the Ask the Experts and Professional Services Terms apply and the professional is responsible for the professional service they provide.
19. Advertising and sponsored content
MyPA may show advertising, sponsored recommendations and offers. Ranking may take account of relevance, price, availability, your preferences and commercial relationships. Paid placements and sponsored results are clearly labelled "Sponsored" or "Ad". Age-restricted advertising is shown only where applicable age-assurance requirements are met.
20. AI Tokens
20.1 Some AI functionality consumes AI Tokens. The number of tokens a feature uses is shown in the app before or when you use it. Usage beyond your plan's included allowances (for example additional storage or VPN data) may also be charged in AI Tokens, as described in the app and the Payments Policy.
20.2 AI Tokens are a prepaid right to use MyPA's own services. They are not money, electronic money, a deposit, a security or a cryptoasset; they cannot be exchanged for cash (except where a refund is due under the Payments Policy or law); they cannot be transferred to another account or used to pay anyone other than MyPA; and they have no value outside the Service.
20.3 Promotional AI Tokens may have an expiry date or usage conditions, which will be shown when they are given. Purchased AI Tokens are subject to the validity rules in the Payments Policy. We use Promotional AI Tokens before Purchased AI Tokens unless the app states otherwise.
20.4 We may withhold or reverse AI Tokens obtained by fraud, abuse, error or breach of the Acceptable Use and AI Safety Policy.
21. Paid Services, payments and refunds
21.1 Who you pay. When you buy a subscription, Purchased AI Tokens or Ask the Experts services directly from us on the web or in-app (outside an app store's billing), you contract with MyPA Limited, and MyPA Limited is the merchant of record. The merchant name that appears on your card statement will be shown at checkout.
21.2 Payment processing. Card and other payments made directly to MyPA are processed by our payment service provider, Trust Payments (trustpayments.com), and its acquiring partners. Your full card details are entered into Trust Payments' secure, PCI DSS-compliant payment environment and are not stored by MyPA. We receive only a payment token, the card type, the last four digits, the expiry date and the transaction result. Payments may require 3-D Secure or other strong customer authentication by your card issuer.
21.3 App stores. If you buy through the Apple App Store, Google Play or another marketplace, that marketplace processes the payment and its billing, renewal and refund rules apply. You must manage or cancel those purchases through the marketplace.
21.4 Prices. Prices are shown before you buy, in the currency stated at checkout, including any VAT, GST or similar tax we are required to charge. Your card issuer may charge foreign-transaction or currency-conversion fees.
21.5 Subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your account settings, or by emailing help@mypa.today, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will tell you before any free trial converts to a paid subscription, before an annual subscription renews, and at least 30 days before any price increase, which you may avoid by cancelling.
21.6 Your right to cancel. If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. For digital content and services that begin immediately, you will be asked to agree to immediate supply and to acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once supply has begun, to the extent the law allows. The Payments Policy explains your cancellation and refund rights in full, including refunds of unused Purchased AI Tokens.
21.7 Failed payments and chargebacks. If a payment fails we may retry it and suspend the relevant Paid Service until payment is made. Please contact us before raising a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue. If a chargeback is raised for a payment that was properly authorised, we may suspend the related Paid Service while it is investigated. This does not affect your rights under card scheme rules or law.
21.8 Payment authority. By providing a payment method you confirm that you are authorised to use it and you authorise us, through Trust Payments, to charge it for Paid Services you buy, including recurring subscription charges until you cancel.
22. Acceptable use
You must use MyPA lawfully and in accordance with the Acceptable Use and AI Safety Policy. You must not use MyPA for fraud, unauthorised access, malware, unlawful surveillance, harassment, child exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive deepfakes, intellectual-property infringement, unlawful discrimination, unauthorised purchases or other illegal or seriously harmful activity. You must not probe, scan or test MyPA's systems without our written permission, or use automation to send spam, scrape unlawfully or evade access controls.
23. Intellectual property and licence
23.1 MyPA and its licensors own all intellectual-property rights in the Service, including software, interfaces, branding, databases, AI orchestration, agent frameworks and documentation.
23.2 Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the MyPA apps and use the Service for its intended purpose. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except as permitted by law), resell or create derivative works of the Service.
24. Your Content and AI Output
24.1 You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant MyPA the permissions reasonably necessary to process, store, transmit, transform, analyse and display Your Content to provide, secure and maintain the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
24.2 We do not use the content of your private conversations, connected email or files to train general-purpose AI models. Any use of your data to improve MyPA is described in the Privacy Policy and subject to your settings.
24.3 Subject to these Terms, applicable law and third-party rights, as between you and MyPA you may use AI Output generated for you for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. You are responsible for reviewing AI Output before publishing or relying on it and for complying with section 5 when sharing it.
25. Feedback and reporting problems
You can report an AI Output that is incorrect, harmful, offensive or mislabelled using the in-app feedback controls or by emailing help@mypa.today. Reports are reviewed under our Human Oversight Process Policy. You can also ask for a human to review a decision that significantly affects you, such as an account suspension.
26. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep MyPA reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be unavailable because of maintenance, third-party outages, connectivity, device limitations, security incidents, legal requirements or events outside our reasonable control. Beta and experimental features are identified as such and may be changed or withdrawn. If we withdraw a Paid Service you have paid for in advance, we will give you a proportionate refund or equivalent value.
27. Suspension and termination
27.1 You may stop using MyPA and close your account at any time in settings. Closing your account cancels any direct subscription at the end of the current period. Unused Purchased AI Tokens are dealt with under the Payments Policy.
27.2 We may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, a security risk, suspected fraud, a legal requirement, repeated misuse, non-payment, or discontinuation of the Service. Where reasonable and lawful we will give notice and an explanation, and an opportunity to appeal to a human reviewer.
28. Our responsibility to you
28.1 We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services and digital content that are not adequately provided, and nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
28.2 We do not guarantee that AI Output will always be correct, complete or suitable for your purpose, that every task will be completed, that third-party services will remain available or that every threat will be detected.
29. Liability
29.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory consumer rights.
29.2 Consumers. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses (because the Service is for domestic and private use when you use it as a consumer), or for loss caused by your reliance on AI Output where you failed to check it in circumstances described in section 4.3, to the extent the law allows.
29.3 Business users. Where no separate written agreement applies, and to the fullest extent permitted by law: neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss; MyPA is not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings; and MyPA's total liability will not exceed the greater of the fees paid by the business user to MyPA in the 12 months before the claim and GBP 100.
30. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, security, commercial arrangements or platform rules. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes that are to your disadvantage, by email or in-app message. If you do not agree, you may close your account before the change takes effect and receive a refund of any prepaid amounts for the period after the change and of unused Purchased AI Tokens. A change requiring your consent (for example to MyPA Insights) will not take effect without that consent.
31. App store terms
31.1 Apple. If you downloaded MyPA from Apple's App Store, these Terms are between you and MyPA, not Apple. MyPA, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its content, maintenance, support, warranties (to the extent not disclaimed), product claims and intellectual-property claims. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the app; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
31.2 Google Play and other marketplaces. The marketplace's distribution, payment and licence rules also apply where they must control a particular matter.
32. White-label and partner services
MyPA may be supplied through mobile operators, banks, retailers, media businesses, creators, membership organisations, employers and other partners. The AI service is provided by MyPA even where branding differs, and these Terms apply to it. Each partner's own connectivity, financial, membership or retail services are governed by that partner's terms.
33. Promotions and competitions
Competitions, prize draws, referral schemes and promotions may have separate rules, which prevail for that promotion.
34. Complaints and disputes
34.1 If you have a complaint, please contact help@mypa.today. We will acknowledge it within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
34.2 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the law of Jersey. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country or in Jersey. For business users, the courts of Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
35. General
- Notices. We may contact you through the app, MyPA Message Centre or the email address on your account.
- Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation as part of a reorganisation, financing, merger or sale, provided your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer your rights without our consent.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. A delay in enforcing these Terms is not a waiver.
- Third parties. Except as stated in section 31.1, no one other than you and MyPA has a right to enforce these Terms.
- Language. These Terms are provided in English. Where we provide a translation, the version identified as controlling in that country applies.

In addition:
- no pre-ticked consent, and no joining by silence or continued use;
- core MyPA remains available if you decline;
- you can withdraw as easily as you joined;
- validly earned Promotional AI Tokens are not forfeited solely because you withdraw;
- a new purpose or materially new data category requires new consent;
- users under 18 are not eligible; and
- platform and source restrictions (including Apple, Google Workspace Limited Use and health-data rules) override your permission where they prohibit the proposed processing.
Schedule 2 – Country schedules
For users in Japan, the Japan Country Schedule forms part of these Terms and prevails for Japan-specific matters. Further country schedules may be added where local law requires. The Japan Country Schedule will be published before MyPA launches in Japan.
